Tarmac and Asphalt Laying & Repairs
Laying Tarmacadam or Asphalt surfaces is a job that requires a high skill level and a lot of experience and knowledge to get right!
Installing a tarmac driveway involves :
- Excavating to the required depth
- Laying the foundations
- Laying a sub-base which involves laying hardcore in crushed form
- Rolling with a heavy-duty professional road roller
- Edging the driveway with kerbstones
- Laying the top layer and rolling again with a heavy-duty roller
We also can repair existing tarmac driveways by:
- Pressure washing the area gently but thoroughly
- Filling cracks
- Applying cold lay repair to holes
- Applying 2 coats of Tarmaseal™ Tarmac Restorer
Tarmaseal™ is far superior to the tarmac paints you might find in a DIY store. Paints will sit on the surface and peel off fairly quickly. Tarmaseal™ soaks right into the surface and replaces the resins lost through weathering, traffic and exposure to sunlight over the years.
